Solomon states in Ecclesiastes that the world just keeps going around and around and around and around and around and around and around. . .

and a r o u n d.

It’s been said that if the world didn’t suck, we’d all fall off. That’s not a good enough reason for me. The truth is, we all deal with life’s underbelly. The truth is, there’s more to life than the underbelly.

One thing that keeps me going is the assurance that this ‘endless’ cycle we call life will be broken. Things aren’t going to continue as is forever. There is reason to hang in there, to move forward and to have hope.

Jesus’ promised return will break the devil’s strangle hold on this world. It’s not all meaningless. Someone loves me and is coming for me. I’m not just left here and forgotten.

“Listen, and I will tell you a secret. We shall not all die,but suddenly, in the twinkling of an eye, every one of us will be changed as the last trumpet sounds! For the trumpet will sound and the dead shall be raised beyond the reach of corruption, and we shall be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:51-52

Join us on Sabbath as we look more closely at this amazing reason for hope.

Rejoicing in hope,
Pastor Steve
