January 3, 2003 Peace, Consider for this new year that little things do make a big difference: salt in the soup; a rivet on the airliner; the violin in a string trio; brakes on a car; rods and cones in your eye. Say 'thank you', ask directions, accept help, give generously. Let the other driver have the parking space. Smile at the checker – even ask his/her name. Return that grocery cart.
